North of the city, the palm grove is not a garden. It is a dry, stony plain crossed by tracks, where the palms grow in clumps and the ground never quite stops being uneven. Which is exactly what a quad bike wants: open enough to ride, rough enough to be fun.
No experience is needed. They explain the machine, they kit you out, and off you go.
